After losing her father at a young age while he was in a long-term care facility, Tanya experienced firsthand how difficult it can be for families to find the right care. That experience inspired her to devote her life to caring for others. From her first job as a Personal Care Assistant in high school, to graduating as valedictorian from Penn State’s Nursing Program, to earning her PhD in Functional Medicine, everything she has accomplished has pointed toward one purpose: helping seniors live better lives at home.
In 2017 she founded Sense of Peace Home Care dedicated to providing compassionate in-home senior care and educating families on the resources available to them. Today she leads a team of over 100 caregivers serving families throughout Berks County and the surrounding areas. And she still believes what she did from the very beginning. With Sense of Peace, you’re not just a client. You’re family.
